Kia ora bloggers and SLJ team This is my haiku poem I again worked with my little brother and here it is hope you like it Bye.
I am a Year 6 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 9 and my teacher is Roya. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
Hey Luisapeta,
ReplyDeleteI’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts again and I hope you’re enjoying your summer.
Nice work on the Haiku poem activity. I really like the words you’ve chosen and the imagery you’re using. The blue sky and the green earth, I think the line “combining the sun and rain is definitely my favourite and very clever.
Poetry doesn’t actually have rules and I think this is really good but I reckon for an extra challenge you could try working on this one again and work in that 5,7,5 syllable limitation and see what creativity comes out of it.
I’ll be really excited to see if you do,
See you later in the comments.
Daniel

DeleteHi Daniel,
DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog and sure I will try working on this one again and work in that 5,7,5 syllable limitation if I have enough time to work on it cause my family and I are really busy people during this week.
Have a great holiday
